Unable to follow gancio relay from Friendica

Two people report they can’t follow @relay@cal.gravitons.org from a Friendica account: - “I tried subscribing to relay@cal.gravitons.org but was told that as a relay I can't follow that account.” - “I just tried following @relay from a Friendica account and had the same message.”
